Who am I?
My name is Glenda and I am the mother of three growing boys. And when I say growing, I mean literally as I look at them. And that’s what I wanted to tell you today about a simple way to fill those stomachs with great food and no mess.
How?
The Perfect Meat Loaf, as seen on TV, is no gimmick. Like me, I’m sure you’re no stranger to the durable non-stick coating that has made being in the kitchen a much better playground that it was for our mothers! But, still, I always struggled with meat loaf. There was pressure, of course, because my husband’s mother really does put on a good meat loaf. But for me, I like something that not only tastes great, but looks good on the plate. And until I discovered the Perfect Meat Loaf, I had never been able to do that with my favourite standby family meal, meat loaf.
Why does it work?
There is nothing new to learn about making meat loaf, that recipe you are already using will do just fine. The difference is just in what you use to cook it. The Perfect Meat Loaf uses the durable non-stick coating, but once you’ve mixed up your ingredients you will be putting them on to an air base tray within the meat loaf pan. It’s revolutionary when you think about it. Cooking time remains the same, but the difference is that instead of your healthy ingredients simmering in the fat from the meat which naturally will go to the bottom of the loaf pan, it is separated with the air base tray. So, when cooking is complete, you lift it out and serve straight away.
What’s different?
And you’ll notice right away, like I did, what the difference is. The meat loaf isn’t soggy and – the best bit in my books – it doesn’t fall apart. It actually looks like a meal and anot a dogs’ breakfast! Really! It’s not mushy, it’s not undercooked, and you can slice it off in portions instead of scooping it on to the plate as best you can.

And once I’d been convinced of how easy the actually cooking part was, I just knew there would be a catch. I guessed it would be in the clean-up stage of the meal! But, boy was I wrong! The Perfect Meat Loaf is dishwasher safe and in it went. So, cleanup was as simple as 1, 2, 3.

Having the cook happy with the result probably isn’t a priority for your family. It wasn’t for mine. But, I can happily say that my boys now ask if it’s ‘that magic meat loaf’ for dinner tonight instead of ‘what’s for dinner?’.

Of course, I still like to use my old family favourite, but I can say that I haven’t had any complaints from the boys about any of the recipes I have tried.
